01 Why it matters
What you don’t see
In a home heated by forced air, the furnace warms the air and pushes it into a main trunk that branches out to the vents in every room. The air comes back through the return grilles to be heated again. It is a closed loop: whatever gets in keeps circulating.
Season after season, dust, hair and debris settle all along that loop: in the ducts, on the furnace blower, around the heat exchanger. A dirty blower moves less air, and the rooms farthest from the furnace feel it first.
Cleaning only the ducts, or only the furnace, solves half the problem: the dirt left on one side comes back to the other. That is why we treat the central system as a whole, from the furnace to the last vent.

01How often should the central system be cleaned?
A complete cleaning every 3 to 5 years. Yearly furnace maintenance before the heating season is also recommended.
02How much does furnace and duct cleaning cost?
From $450 before tax, furnace and ducts included. The dryer vent is free during the same visit.
03What's the difference with air duct cleaning?
Air duct cleaning covers the duct system and its vents. The central system service adds the furnace itself: blower, heat exchanger and internal components.
04Will it lower my heating bill?
A clean system lets air through more easily and doesn't have to run as long. The effect on your bill depends on the starting condition of the system, so we won't promise you a number.
05What is not covered by the guarantee?
Mechanical or electrical problems with the appliance itself. The cleaning is guaranteed: call within 7 days and we come back to fix it at no charge.
