01 Laval

What we see in the ducts here

Laval has been one city since the 1965 merger, but it was built in waves. Close to Montreal, Pont-Viau, Laval-des-Rapides, Chomedey and Duvernay have many bungalows, duplexes and split-levels from the 1950s to the 1970s. Their ducts are often original, extended for a finished basement, and full of decades of fine dust.

Further west and north, Fabreville, Sainte-Dorothée, Auteuil and Sainte-Rose grew later, with two-storey homes, semi-detached houses and townhouses. Those duct systems are younger, but a newer home often still carries drywall dust from construction, and the second floor is usually where airflow is weakest.

Between the Rivière des Prairies and the Rivière des Mille Îles, some waterfront sectors have seen spring floods, and a damp basement tests the home ventilation. We clean every accessible duct, vents and returns included, check the airflow and clean the dryer vent at no charge.

Inspection

We look at the system first: ducts, access points, vents and problem areas. You know exactly what will be cleaned before we start.

Protection

Floors and vent areas are protected. Loosened dust stays in the ducts and in our equipment, not in your living room.

Cleaning

With our professional equipment, we dislodge and remove dust and debris from the entire accessible system: main trunk, branches and vents.

Check

Final inspection and airflow check. Before-and-after photos on request.

05 Questions

Duct cleaning: questions from Laval

01Do you cover all of Laval?

Yes, all of Île Jésus, from the Rivière des Prairies sectors (Pont-Viau, Laval-des-Rapides) to the Mille Îles shore (Sainte-Rose, Laval-Ouest, Fabreville).

02Is there a travel fee to Laval?

No travel fee within 50 km of Sainte-Clotilde. Beyond that, a travel fee is calculated from your address and shown before you confirm.

03Our upstairs bedrooms are always too warm or too cold. Will cleaning help?

Dirty ducts reduce airflow, and the farthest rooms feel it first. Cleaning restores what the system was designed to deliver; if the problem persists, it may be a balancing issue in the duct design.

04How often should air ducts be cleaned?

Every 3 to 5 years for a typical home. With pets, allergies or after renovations, every 2 to 3 years.

05How long does duct cleaning take?

Usually 2 to 4 hours, depending on the size of the house and the number of vents.
