01 South Shore

What we see in the ducts here

We are based in Sainte-Clotilde, just south of Mercier: the South Shore is where our trucks spend most of their days. Châteauguay grew fast from the 1950s to the 1980s, and many of its bungalows, split-levels and cottages from the 1960s and 70s still run on their original ducts, often extended when the basement was finished.

Brossard was built section by section from 1958, each with street names starting with the same letter; the first sections (M and V) are now more than sixty years old. Since the REM opened three stations in Brossard on July 31, 2023, new condo towers have gone up around them. Two extremes, the same need: dust out of the system.

Saint-Lambert, across the Victoria Bridge from Montreal and next to the St. Lambert Locks of the Seaway, and the Vieux-Longueuil and Greenfield Park neighbourhoods have older homes and mature streets, where ducts have been modified many times over the years. We clean every accessible duct, vents and returns included, and the dryer vent is free.

Inspection

We look at the system first: ducts, access points, vents and problem areas. You know exactly what will be cleaned before we start.

Protection

Floors and vent areas are protected. Loosened dust stays in the ducts and in our equipment, not in your living room.

Cleaning

With our professional equipment, we dislodge and remove dust and debris from the entire accessible system: main trunk, branches and vents.

Check

Final inspection and airflow check. Before-and-after photos on request.

05 Questions

Duct cleaning: questions from South Shore

01Is there a travel fee on the South Shore?

No travel fee within 50 km of Sainte-Clotilde. Beyond that, a travel fee is calculated from your address and shown before you confirm. Most of the South Shore is close to our base.

02Our Châteauguay basement had water during the spring thaw. Should we clean the ducts?

If water reached the ducts or the furnace room, yes, and tell us when you book so we look closely at the low runs. A musty smell at start-up is the usual sign.

03Do you also clean the dryer vent?

Yes, and it is free with duct cleaning, during the same visit.

04How often should air ducts be cleaned?

Every 3 to 5 years for a typical home. With pets, allergies or after renovations, every 2 to 3 years.

05How long does duct cleaning take?

Usually 2 to 4 hours, depending on the size of the house and the number of vents.
