01 West Island
What we see in the ducts here
Most of the West Island was built in one wave, between 1955 and 1975: Dollard-des-Ormeaux, Pierrefonds, Roxboro and Kirkland are largely bungalows and split-levels, many with a forced-air furnace and the duct system that came with the house. Fifty years later, a lot of those ducts have never been cleaned end to end.
Many of these homes have also had their basement finished, a family room added or the furnace replaced. Each change usually means new duct runs spliced onto the old ones, and renovation dust pushed through the whole system. We clean every accessible duct, old and new, vents and cold-air returns included.
Along the Rivière des Prairies, Pierrefonds-Roxboro and Île Bizard lived through the 2017 spring flood (about 850 homes affected in the borough) and again in 2019. If your basement took on water, damp ducts and a musty smell when the furnace starts are worth checking: tell us when you book.

Inspection
We look at the system first: ducts, access points, vents and problem areas. You know exactly what will be cleaned before we start.
Protection
Floors and vent areas are protected. Loosened dust stays in the ducts and in our equipment, not in your living room.
Cleaning
With our professional equipment, we dislodge and remove dust and debris from the entire accessible system: main trunk, branches and vents.
Check
Final inspection and airflow check. Before-and-after photos on request.
04 Where we go
Across West Island
The road from Sainte-ClotildeFrom Sainte-Clotilde, Autoroute 30 takes us west over the Beauharnois canal and the St. Lawrence to Vaudreuil-Dorion, then Autoroute 20 crosses Île Perrot and enters the West Island at Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue. No downtown traffic on the way.
05 Questions
Duct cleaning: questions from West Island
01Do you serve Pointe-Claire, Kirkland, Beaconsfield and DDO?
Yes, and Dorval, Pierrefonds-Roxboro, Baie-D’Urfé, Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue, Senneville and Île Bizard. Same prices everywhere.
02Our split-level has vents on three levels. Is it still "from $250"?
The price starts at $250 before tax and the booking form shows your price before you confirm. Call us at 438 833-1000 if your home is unusually large and we will tell you in advance.
03We just replaced the furnace. Should we clean the ducts?
It is a good time to do it: the new furnace would otherwise push the old dust around. The dryer vent is included free in the same visit.
04How often should air ducts be cleaned?
Every 3 to 5 years for a typical home. With pets, allergies or after renovations, every 2 to 3 years.
05How long does duct cleaning take?
Usually 2 to 4 hours, depending on the size of the house and the number of vents.
