What we see in the units here
In West Island bungalows and split-levels, ductless units are often added where the old duct system does not reach well: the finished basement, the bedroom over the garage, an addition. It is common for us to clean three or four heads in the same home, sometimes on one shared outdoor unit.
Our pricing is per indoor unit: $200 for the first, $150 for each additional one, outdoor unit included. Four heads come to $650 before tax, and from two units the dryer vent is free.
Along Lake Saint-Louis, in Dorval, Pointe-Claire, Beaconsfield and Baie-D’Urfé, summer evenings are humid. Coils stay wet longer and mould takes hold faster, which is why a yearly cleaning in spring, before the hot season, makes sense here.

Protect and open
Wall and floor protected. We remove the front panel and filters of the indoor unit to reach the components.
Wash the indoor unit
Deep cleaning of the evaporator coil and fins, the drain pan and the drain line so water flows freely.
Blower wheel and anti-mould
The blower wheel is cleaned, then a specialized anti-mould and anti-bacterial product is applied.
Outdoor unit and check
The outdoor unit is cleaned, the unit is reassembled and we check that everything runs properly before we leave.

Across West Island
The road from Sainte-ClotildeFrom Sainte-Clotilde, Autoroute 30 takes us west over the Beauharnois canal and the St. Lawrence to Vaudreuil-Dorion, then Autoroute 20 crosses Île Perrot and enters the West Island at Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue. No downtown traffic on the way.

Mini-split cleaning: questions from West Island
01We have one outdoor unit and three heads inside. How is that priced?
By indoor unit: $500 before tax for three heads, the shared outdoor unit included.
02Do you also clean the HRV in our basement?
Yes. An air exchanger with one mini-split is a $450 package ($100 discount included). With more units, it is $250 for the exchanger plus the mini-split price, and the dryer vent is free either way.
03When is the best time?
Spring, before you switch to cooling. Booking early in the season is easier.
04How often should a mini-split be cleaned?
Once a year by a professional, ideally in spring before the hot season. Rinse the filters yourself about once a month while you use the unit.
05How much does mini-split cleaning cost?
$200 for the first unit and $150 for each additional unit, before tax: $350 for two, $500 for three.
